Day three was again super warm. On the way out of Verona we had a pit stop at Lake Garda on our way to Monaco, finishing up the day sleeping in Cannes, France.
Here is the Jacques Custo Oceanographic Museum. Whhhaaaat! Amazing. Sea Creatures + the ocean + Adventure. Yes, please. We couldn't pop in now because we had to catch the trolly, but came back later.
The Palace
PROOF! If a scientific museum has an unskinned Unicorn out front w/ other 'factual' creatures, then clearly it's real. Glad we've got that one sorted.
The church where Grace Kelly is buried.
Here is the back of the museum hanging off the cliff.
Finally we went to the museum. More because my dad wanted some time w/ an air conditioner, but I was able to see my creatures! And are there some cool and weird ones.
We arrived in Monaco around lunchtime. After trying to find the old-fashion train trolley that was to be our tourist transportation and then realizing that it was up at the top of the giant hill, up we walked.

Then we continued on to Cannes arrving just as the sun was setting. Super cute French-riviera style hotel and then we headed out to the 'strip' for some dinner.
Here the legendary Cannes Film Festival stairs.
There were lots of street vendors and performers using lights that moved.
And of course, the very French, roller skating performers!
