Jem & the Hollograms LIVE @ Starlight!

One Saturday in March, what started as an innocent evening of playing Sing-Star as we waited for everyone to meet up ended with us being local celebrities. I mean, what else are you supposed to do after you perfect your Sing-Star routine than bring it on the road?
Andi, Amy, Danielle and I started out, then were joined by two interns Kristen and Polly, then by a few brave boys. Every time I see these photos I laugh out loud and remember why i love my friends here.

Andi and Amy doing a final warm-up at Andi's place.

Then we went to the very classy Nurnberg establishment called Starlight.
We picked our songs and Amy showed off her recently obtained engagment ring. Our team name may have ended as Jem & the Holograms, but started as Guido alla Cassa. Bobo's 4yr old nephew got a keyboard for his birthday. His name is Guido. So imagine, bing, bing, bing on the keyboard then him saying "Guidoa alla cassa" into the mic. Which basically translate to Guido to the register. It's what you say at the grocery when you need back up, lol. Genuis. Of course it needs to be said way to close to the mic so it gets distored.

what song to pick....

I know!

Britney started to step'

Danielle and Andi practicing mental toughness for our upcoming performance.
Amy and the owner of Starlight. Yes, we very popular this evening.
Few dance move warmups

Oh yes, just a few songs in and we already had volunteer back up dancers.

Then Gary showed up. This is the good and the bad w/ being the only boy to crash an impromtu girls night. When you arrive we will all scream your name, however we will embarass you endlessly.

We also provided dancing for other participants.

When you keep harassing the dj to play the songs you want, they send you away with free food to keep you occupied for a while. Excellent strategy on our part during these weak economic times.
Then Jaime, chrooner of the Mexican karaoke set joined our team. Love that he even was dressed to impress.

150% commiment.
"someone to hear my prayer....."
insync, yes!
We had a fan club. duh. Which Amy left the stage mid song to thank.
Not just a pose, but a mid song pose.

Amy spilled a beverage. Her contribution was some TP from the bathroom. Rookie.
Luckily Andi came to the rescue.
Then Amy noticed a free table.

And we also performed back up singing for couples on dates doing duets.
Jaime loved being honored to performe w/ the Hollograms

Next CD cover, I think so.
T. Murphy and his friends from adi joined us. I don't think they were fully prepared for the excellence they were about to witness.
Of course the interns are rockin' the fur coats. Class. High Class.

Gary, me and "the cute one" member of a German boy band.
Andi, Fity, and his bullets. Whaaat, oh yes.
Absolute amazing.

I love that Jaime is sooo commited, he's serenading Gary w/ a pen. Man love, starlight style.
And we're out. Til next time Nurnberg!
