Classic Open Air Concert

Twice in the summer Nurnberg holds a Classic Open Air Concert. It's held on land that used to be part of the Nazi Rally grounds, where they have a 1/2 shell theater. Everyone bring blankets, tables, food, and wine and enjoys relaxing from the afternoon until the show is over in late evening. The weather was great & we were able to ride our bikes over.

Getting our area set up. See Kris' cool Swedish fold up Jacobs-Ladder type chair.

The feast...
The concert starts in PURPLE. yes.
Evan and Christina.
Then once it's dark everyone lights candles, which makes the park looks super cool. Then at the climax of the show everyone pulls out sparklers. Very pretty.
My neighbor, Casper from Denmark, who was my sidekick for the evening.
