Skipping Cork the day before, meant that I could now take as much time as I wanted going around the Ring of Kerry. There is lots of discussion online about what direction to drive the Ring of Kerry and how long it takes. I drove counter clock-wise and easily did it in a day - 6-8 hrs.
This was one of the best parts of the trip and I highly recommend everyone else get a chance to see it.

Next stop was Portmagee, named after a pirate! Amazing.
Then I went up this random little road to see out to the Skellig rocks. It was too foggy to see, but here is what I saw along the way...first horses.

Next stop Waterville. Boring. Good for oldies.

Then I made it to the very charming and very cool town of Kenmare.
When I'm ready to calm down and live in a little village I will move here.
not sure about this one - a Chicken in a dress declaring her love for Vegetarians, but it was in a great organic vegetarian cafe. YUM.
Then I was off into the Killarney National Park. Beautiful. Unicorns, fairies, and leprechauns definitely live here.

Killarney. Another great Irish town. Visit and make this your homebase for everything in south-west Ireland.
