Thanksgiving in the 'Berg 2009

For the second year in a row, I hosted Thankgiving Dinner.  Of course since we don't get it off here, we do it on the Sunday after.  I cooked my first turkey this year, which came out much, much better than expected.  I did need to use my neightbor' oven so that things all came out warm at once, but as it was pot luck all the food was amazing.  Another successful Thanksgiving.

After the small dinner group, Bobo wanted to open it up so that anyone who wanted to say ciao was welcome to come by.  He had leaving drinks at Backerhof.

Bobo's Leaving Dinner ;(

Finally Bobo had decided to move back to Verona, his home.  This was very sad news for all of us, but good news for Bobo, so we celebrated with him.  First we threw him a good-bye dinner.

This is our group shot.  If you tilt your screen, or look at this in the dark, you can actually see everyone else who is supposed to be in the picture.  Michele proved that he was cycling in safety when his jacket absorbed all of the camera's flash.
