After I finally arrived at the hotel, I went out exploring.

Here is an abanonned estate (?) perhaps which is now a park.
Behind the park was a neighborhood that looked very california....

Pitti Palace, where the Medici ruling family moved after purchasing it from their rivals the Pitti's. Just a little old place.
St. Spirito church, which faces Piazza St. Spirito. The facade was never finished because the builder died in it's process and he never told anyone his plans for fear they would be stolen and copied, so it's just been left plain.
I had dinner in piazza St. Sprito per Michele's (prev my boss, now boss' boss due to promotion) recommendation. It's his favorite piazza in Florence. More locals, more of a hip scene.

Rissotto....AMAZING.
Torta Chocolato.....EVEN MORE AMAZING. As you can see of course.
Post dinner walk back to the hotel. Back at the Arno.
I arrived at the perfect time - sunset, on a perfect day, which equalled great pictures. The weather was perfect, so just sat on the bridge walls w/ a ton of other people. It was hard to finally leave with a nice balmy soft breeze and beautiful things to see.

One of the coolest things about Florence is that no matter where you look there is something to see. The roofline and the even windows signify that this building is Renisance era. Cool part, window, window, clock, window, window.
