Nurnberger's in Paris

Directly from Baltimore I flew to Paris to meet up with Maria for a work trip.  Whoop, whoop, Paris!
Maria had lived in Paris previously when she was finishing university and then working for L'Oreal.  It was great to have a local to tour the city with. We stayed one night with Maria's friend Sandra, who was very kind to host us.  She's from Mexico originally and met Maria while they worked together at L'Oreal.

Paris is a place where even the most random location quickly becomes art.

They have unicorns in Paris too.  Much more lady, however.

In the evenings we met up with various friends of Maria.  One night was L'Oreal's Latin American marketing team.  The girls are great and dinner was super good.  Another night we went to see FACE Bar 82 Rue des Archives, owned by her friend Mathieu and his brother.  It's a great bar and we highly recommend it.  Small, charming, locals, and even old men singing songs to Cher Paris.  Here are some pics from that great night:

This is Bruno.  He was very proud to be wearing Pumas when the Puma Ladies came to town.

Every bar should have it's own deco scooter.

This is Mathieu.

Then we started playing elevated quarters.  Maria and I beat the boys.

This is Charley.

Bruno claimed he was very good at braiding hair.....

Maybe not so much.

Maria was very happy to be hanging out with me in Paris.

Bruno Hate.  Kara Hate.

After the bar closed, we all helped to clean up.  How cool is this original floor!

Charley, above, was working a bit harder than Bruno...

Cinderella :)

Maria loves Emil.

Bruno loves Luciana.

This is the picture of Andrea, our boss, he sent us after we sent him a picture of us smiling in front of the Lourve.  His accompanying text "you're both fired".  Best Boss ever!  :)
