Budapest is so bike friendly they have bike lanes everywhere and bike traffic lights.
Hungary has a great history. The above monument represents the 7 tribes of the region coming together as blood brothers to form the Hungarian empire.
Anonymous - rub his finger and you are given good luck in writing and school.
The last Soviet Era monument in Budapest. They keep wanting to take it down, but historical societies fight it. It's fenced in so that no one tries to take it down.

Biking to the top of Buda castle is not the best plan we've ever had, but we made it. Here is 1/2 way up.
At the top is the old medieval city of Buda.
And great views of Pest and the river.
That evening it poured, but Susie and I were not going to let that stop us. Here we are in our rain gear about to get on our bikes.
Warning. This club is 16 yrs plus and offers foam parties. Do not be distracted by the crazy flashing lights and good music.
The next day we went to the Natural Springs.
