Bandit takes on Dusseldorf

The weekend after our big sales meeting, I went to Dusseldorf for the GDS footwear show. Since I didn't have a dog sitter yet, and dogs can go everywhere in Germany, Bandit came along for the ride. It's free to take dogs on the train and only 7 euros a night extra to have him stay in the hotel. Plus, unlike a lot of US hotels, pets can stay in the hotel while you're gone. So Friday night we took the train from Nurnberg to Dusseldorf.

Here's Bandit enjoying the ride. Some how or another he ended up on my neighbor's lap both on the way there and back. Using his flirting skills in order to get up off the floor.

Is Friedel Meyers related to Fred Meyers?

This is my cab driver on the way to GDS lost and asking for directions.
Downtown Dussledorf - main shopping street

Great graffiti all over the city....

Bandit chill'n downtown

Yes, that's really a man with a wind-up box and a monkey. They do exist.

Sunset on the Rhine River

A space needle and a plam tree?

Floating dinner

This is the view from where Bandit and I had a very nice italian dinner at the outside cafe. Very romantic of course.

Shoes and baked goods? Why doesn't everyone sell them this way?
The poster totally reminds me of the old skool Airwalk campaigns.

Of course there's a "Wall street"
